New York, New York: The OnRamp Insurance Accelerator 2021 (from gener8tor and partners Allianz Life and Securian Financial) has announced its five-business cohort selected from 500 businesses across the United States that applied for the program. SilverBills provides concierge bill management for older adults throughout the United States and was founded by Marci Lobel-Esrig, CEO and General Counsel. SilverBills is the only female founded company in this year’s cohort.
SilverBills joins Riskfuel, Rocket Dollar, Trulytics and Unscrambl in receiving a $100,000 investment and individualized coaching and mentorship from financial and insurance professionals.
SilverBills has developed a proprietary bill management software solution that helps clients manage their bills. SilverBills receives, scrutinizes, stores and ensures payment of household bills. Keeping current with bills can be challenging and mistakes can lead to dire consequences such as termination of benefits, like insurance, and financial exploitation. Every client is paired with a dedicated Account Manager, and client computer use is optional. SilverBills’ partners include the New York City Department for the Aging and Care.com and the company closed its seed funding in March 2021.
“We are incredibly impressed with this group of resilient and innovative entrepreneurs working on solutions ranging from helping older adults age in place to empowering individuals with the freedom to diversify their retirement savings into crypto or real estate investments. The cohort also includes some deep technical solutions for the insurance and financial services industries. The Securian Financial, Allianz Life and gener8tor teams are all thrilled to welcome each of these companies to the 2021 program.” Says Elizabeth Caven, Managing Director of the OnRamp Insurance Accelerator.
